Simon has worked across science translation, health system infrastructure and digital health platforms. Most recently he was Head of Design at Evinova, AstraZeneca’s health technology business, where he led design strategy and organisational transformation supporting digital enablement of global clinical trials and remote patient monitoring.

He previously worked on the national pandemic response at NHS Test & Trace and the UK Health Security Agency, and has been involved in the Cambridge science ecosystem for over a decade through the University of Cambridge i-Teams programme, mentoring interdisciplinary teams translating emerging science and technology into startup ventures.

His background in social anthropology informs his work on how institutions, professional cultures and human practices shape the adoption of new technologies.
